The way we build software is becoming the product.
Co-founded Kajabi.
We helped creators turn knowledge into businesses.
Built Kajabi from a bootstrapped startup to a $2 billion company.
Recently, I've been solo building with AI. I built PageSumo.
I'm starting to see a new pattern developing.

In revenue generated by Kajabi customers turning what they know into a business.
AI is creating something new: the builder economy.
Building software is no longer reserved for software engineers.
Every week it gets easier to build.
Everyone in this room is already experiencing the power of building with AI.
Today's builders aren't just developers.
They don't have a computer science degree.
They learn from YouTube, Claude, ChatGPT, repos, agents, and whatever helps them build faster.
They start with curiosity.
And soon, plumbers and accountants.
This audience is going to become much larger than traditional software engineers.
Maybe the most valuable product isn't just the app. It's how the app was built.
Builders are creating websites around their repos.
They're documenting them, marketing them, and building businesses around them.
Their process is becoming as valuable as the app.
We're watching the birth of a new type of digital product.
Years ago, we discovered that knowledge could become a product. I think we're about to discover that the way we build software can become a product too.
GitHub is great.
It solved version control and open-source collaboration.
But it wasn't designed for this new audience.
Discover people, not just repositories.
Learn from builders.
Follow builders.
Support builders.
Eventually subscribe to builders.
GitHub will remain an important part of the ecosystem, but I think there's room for a new layer built specifically for builders.
A platform designed around builders instead of repositories.
Creators have Kajabi.
Writers have Substack.
Professionals have LinkedIn.
Builders need a platform.
The platform doesn't grow because we market it. It grows because every successful builder creates the next generation of builders.
I watched this happen with Kajabi. The best creators created more creators.
AI-native engineer.
Product-minded.
Curious.
Loves building.
Wants to be part of a movement, not just build software.
Looking for an exceptional technical partner who sees this future too, and who wants to help build this category with me, not just a company.
